Yes, Today was Fraser Island Day! huge day on the bus at 7.30 this morning and not back till 5,30. Five sights were seen. first up in the morning was Lake McKenzie, very pretty beach. White sand, clear turquoise water, only issue full of backpackers. Next up was Central station, which was the old logging village, then Morning lunch.
After lunch, it was alone the beach to the Maheno wreck, followed by Coloured sands and lastly Eli creek. With a few Dingos alone the way.
All were very beautiful, I used Fraser explorer tours They where great. I just did the one day tour but they have many different options.
Remember Fraser Island is 4X4 ONLY and it has to be a real 4X4, toy ones will not cut it there.
